its finally over!
i'm done with the PTI course and have passed out as one!
woohoo.. haha

today was the day we've all been looking forward to.
we've gone through so much together and learnt so much during this course of 9weeks.
after going through test after test after test, we've got the prize.

the day started out differently.
everyone was in the POC mood. haha
when we went for our morning run, instead of going through the training, we were given the chance to conduct it.
and it was nice to know how it'll feel. haha
for me, the entire day was easy going and quite relaxed.
however, as some didn't manage to pass their OPFT, they had to take the retest.

while those who failed were retaking their OPFT, the rest went on to the rehearsal of the passing out ceremony.
as MC of the ceremony, i had to prepare my opening/closing speech and ensure i knew the flow of the programme.
it was fun to take up this post.
my Enciks were very helpful in helping me prepare properly.

then finally came the passing out ceremony.
everything went out smoothly.
when the time came to give out the PTI badges, i started to get really excited.
i was really looking forward to this moment. haha
being MC, it was arranged that i would be given the badge last so as to avoid wastage of time.
then it was finally my turn
the deputy commander of BRTC was the guest of honor and when he put the badge onto my uniform, i just could not stop smiling.
i am finally a PTI!

after some speeches from the deputy commander and our OC, it was finally time to give out the awards for Best Trainee and Best PT.
it was no surprised on who won the best PT as he was really above all of us in terms of fitness.
but what was surprising was who won best trainee.
it was ME! haha
i was so shocked and was certain another friend of mine would have won it.
it felt great to be awarded 'best trainee'.
i really felt proud of myself but nonetheless, i wouldn't have completed this course if not for my friends.

they've stuck with me through the ups and downs.
sure we had our differences but when it came down to crunch time, we were all there for each other.
and i'm really thankful in being in the same course as them.

so now we'll be going for our 1week leave and will resume our work as PTI the week after next.
