another disappointing tournament
i lost in the 2nd round and it doesn't feel good
i thought i could repeat the feats of my last tournament (4th) but it wasn't to be
i can't say i lost to a better player
it's just the way he plays and i didn't like it
i think if i was more calm, more prepared for each shot, less panicky then maybe, just maybe i could have won
anyway, i should look at the good side of things when you are down
i realised that i'm never ready for the next shot
my racquet is "down"
and my targeting is way off
shots are short thus not tight and thus enabling him to make shots that would discomfort me

but it's nice to have friends that can cheer you up when you have fallen
they just help you forget any setbacks and just help you to move on
after the game, went to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was great fun
food was great, though i found it hard to walk after. haha
went to new york new york and the burger there is HUGE
5 people couldn't finish it
but it was very nice nonetheless

anyway, that was for the weekend and it was back to my exam preparations
everything is going well for 2 subjects
for the other 2, not so well
but i'm just taking each day as it comes and do the most i can
its only 2 more weeks till the exams and i gotta make full use of that period of time
study buddies are great
9am to 9pm (sometimes 6pm due to revision classes) at the national library have been very productive
the study room there is very comfortable to study in though you must get there early or there won't be any seats left
studying with them is great fun and the discussions that we have help me to remember the topics easier

oh, finally got my sliver for my NAPFA
so now all i gotta do is wait for my new enlistment letter with the postponed date
whee!
