its sad isn't it.
that foreigners, at least those from my school find singapore boring.
which come to think of it, is true to a certain extent.
what does singapore have to offer that other countries don't?
just looking at my cousin's blog, the trips that he makes around america and many other countries seems to much fun and just looking at the pictures make you feel like you're there.
singapore can say that we are a shopping hub.
but so is japan, hong kong and even malaysia.
then you can say food.
even now taiwan has all kinds of food.
singapore can't offer something unique.
even with the upcoming integrated resorts, we still aren't unique.
why would people come to singapore for a casino where there is las vegas, and even genting near by?
what will make singapore's casino so special?
where i remember reading that it'll be expensive to enter the casino in the first place.
then there is sentosa. one of the most dull places i've been to.
of course you can say its the company that you go with.
but its so expensive and not really that interesting.
yes it's fun when you go there once or twice.
but there is nothing.
ok ok, you have the new year's party at the beach. anything esle?
no, all you have is underwater world. but people can go scuba diving and its much more fun.
just snorkling will be more interesting.
youths in singapore go to orchard road, do the same things week in week out.
you go have lunch, catch a movie, walk around, chit chat, go to lan shops and play computer games, then dinner and maybe go to a club and party till morning.
yes it sounds fun.
but after a while, it gets boring.
all we do is come online, msn, friendster, maple, dota.
it is really boring. not to mention a waste of time for those who spend hours upon hours on it.
as for me, its fun just hanging out with my friends during the weekends and just letting go and just have fun together but not too often as there is such a thing called school. haha

-Clap, clap- Bra-vo! Good show, old chap. Jo-lly good show!
I agree mostly with what you say, dude. Too much of a good thing can be bad. I mean, food is unique to Singapore, because of the racial diversity, but I agree it needs more than food to become a truly unique tourist place.
Well, I admire your guts in putting something like this up, there's always people out there trying to trip up an innocent blogger.
Thanks for changing the settings. Hope you get more replies.
